Q: Car has rough start and pulls back when driving

asked by on October 04, 2017

Recently I had a breather hose bust because oil went through it. We replaced the hose, replaced the oil pressure switch and it seemed like that was the last of the oil problems. As soon as that was fixed though, the car would turn off around 15 minutes or at normal operating temperature. Eventually it started to have problems starting. We replaced the crankshaft position sensor, now the car stays on but it does have rough starting. It’ll take at most 6 tries before the car starts and when the car drives, it feels like it’s pulling back, only when it is accelerating.

My car has 210400 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
