Q: Car had bodywork and under bonnet work following crash and the dashboard is not working at all

asked by on December 14, 2016

Car returned from the garage appointed to do post crash repairs. Extensive bodywork damage to the passenger side now repaired. Some under the bonnet work required to rectify axle as front wheel was badly crushed and turned at an angle. Battery has been disconnected at some point because trip meter has zeroed. Post crash everything worked fine. Car collected last night. Centre console completely dead - no radio, no clock, no blue tooth etc etc. No warning alarms when I get out of the car and leave the lights on. Main dash all working fine - headlights, wipers, brake lights etc. Spoke to the garage this morning and they said it wasn't working when it came to them. THey claim to have replaced the fuse but nothing. It definitely wasn't like that when it went in.

My car has 38000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
