Q: Car Electrical Issues

asked by on January 02, 2017

I have an 89 Town Car that has electrical issues. Both the A/C/Heat, the Blinkers, and the reverse lights stopped working. Now the windows and Radio are beginning to fail together. The car has issues starting where it cranks up and then dies. You have to hold the key forward (like when you start it up). If you let go of the key it dies immediately. All fuses look good.

My car has 100000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

My car is showing two trouble codes: P1639 and PO452
Hello. The diagnostic codes (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection) you are receiving may be a result of both sensors failing, or a power supply issue. The code P1639 stands for an A/C refrigerant pressure sensor voltage shortage. The second code P0452 (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0452-obd-ii-trouble-code-evaporative-emission-control-system-pressure-sensor-low-input-by-logan-utsman) stands for...
