Q: Car doesn't start after replacing key cylinder.

asked by on

I replaced the key cylinder. I used the heavy key chain and the car started fine. Then, all of a sudden, it won't start unless I let it sit for a short period of time. It is very erratic in this behavior, sometimes going weeks with no problems, and then acting up.
