Q: Car battery died

asked by on

Car battery died after being left for 2 weeks. Jumper cables did not work. What to do next?

My car has 30000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi There, It sounds like you may have a weak battery that may be beyond recharging. Generally, when a battery does not respond to a jump, it will need to be replaced. I would recommend having an expert from YourMechanic come to your location to inspect and replace your battery.
