Q: Can i put a 3 liter from a 98 Accord into the civic?

asked by on

i have a 98 Accord V6 3 Liter and i want to know if i can put that engine into my 02 Civic 1.7L?

Hello, thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, there is not enough room in the Civic’s engine compartment and cradle for this swap. Also, the transmission is different for these engines. I do not think this swap would work. Lastly, the two vehicles are very different when it comes down to the electrical system.
