Q: Can I change the pcm of a 1997 dodge ram 1500 5.2 to a 1997 dodge ram 1500 5.9
I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9. It had a automatic transmission that I have swapped to a manual nv3500. The truck I pulled the nv3500 from had a 5.2 liter engine. Everything works GREAT. Except for the transmission codes I am getting. I am wanting to take the computer from the 5.2 and put in to run the 5.9. I want to know if the computer will run the 5.9 so I don't have the transmission codes.
