Q: can a chevy colbat take premium gas?

asked by on

I was wondering if a chevy colbat can take premium gas ?

My car has 142000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

You can put in premium fuel. It would be a waste of money unless you have a chip tune or other mods that require the higher octane fuel. The fuel will not get rid of an engine mechanical knock but would lower pre-ignition if you have it.
