Q: Brake pads for racing

asked by on

What brake pads would you suggest for trackway use?

It depends on what you are driving. The Akebon ceramic brake pads are pretty good pads, but if you are a serious racer, you are better off buying those fancy carbon fiber pads and getting carbon fiber rotors, too. But again, these are only for you if you are really serious about racing. If you need brake pads sourced and installed onto your vehicle, consider YourMechanic, as a certified technician can come to your home or office to install brake pads of your choice.
