Q: Brake fluid leaking

asked by on

ABS unit is leaking brake fluid.

Hello. A leaking ABS unit will prevent the ABS system from working properly. You may experience a soft or "spongey" brake pedal as a result of the brake fluid leaking. This condition may also cause the brake petal to go all the way to the floor. The ABS unit should be replaced as soon as possible. This should be done by a certified technician, such as one from YourMechanic, who can locate the source of the leak and repair it.
