Q: bought a new battery for my s2000, drove for couple times and now can't turn on engine. What can it be the problem?

Lost the key for 7month and finally got a new key from the dealership, I was told that the battery was no good..so I replace a new battery and drove it for a couple of time. And now I can't turn on the engine..engine won't start.

My car has 110000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
