Q: Belts are squeaking

asked by on

The belts on my vehicle are squeaking.

The belt tensioner or pulley will need to be checked along with belt condition. The belt may just be in need of adjustment. I recommend seeking a certified mechanic like the ones from YourMechanic to come and test your vehicle for you. They will be able to diagnose the car’s squeaking noise and determine what repairs are needed.
