Q: Belt got hot and car stalled

asked by on

My belt is super hot and my car stalled while driving. I don't know if this is related, but about a month ago, my AC started blowing hot air only. Also, my Freon level is low.

You may likely having an issue with the belt drive system or A/C compressor. A quick visual inspection should bring insight as to give a course of action. A qualified technician, such as one from YourMechanic, can assist you with diagnosis and repair.
