Driving home and out of nowhere battery warning light comes on, check guages warning comes on, and temp guage jumps to H. Stated pulling over immediately and as I was slowing down car died. Smoke started billowing out so popped the hood and there was coolant everywhere. Left her overnight. Next day looked for where coolant could be leaking. Couldn't find any holes or buldges on hoses. Put coolant in the radiator and it didn't leak out/stayed full. Check radiator cap seal and spring is good. Checked oil cap for milky froth and there wasn't. Coolant resivor is completely empty. But was full before this happened. Never had any overheating problems before. Could it be the water pump? Would a water pump spew coolant everywhere like that? Could I drive around 20 miles to get her home? Please help!
