I have a 2006 Land Rover Sport HSE. I recently had a local shop perform the NC Vehicle Imspection On it. Ever since the inspection my battery light has been on and my coolant fan runs abnormally high. I’m not sure if that was just couincidence or not. I had my battery and alternator tested and they both tested fine. I have been able to find a few resources on the internet that says this is a common problem for my model LR. From what I’ve read, the problem could be the battery, or the alternator, or the cooling fan, or a malfunctioned sensor between them. I’d rather not have to replace them all and incur the cost to find out the cause. I have copied a link to one of the forums that almost describes what I’m experiencing perfectly. If you would; please, take a look at it and let me know if you are familiar with this problem and it is something you can easily fix.
