Q: All the gauges are moving at the same time when i drive

When i drive my 01 monte carlo 3800 the gas bat temp and oil gauges move up and down

My car has 269000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Check the cluster fuse and all the instrument cluster wiring connectors and grounds. Unplug the connectors and plug them back in.

Also, check the grounds behind and under the cluster for proper tightness. If they're all good, the instrument cluster has an internal short and will need to be repaired/replaced. This is a common issue.
