Q: Alarm sounding when I turn key

asked by on

The alarm sounds when I turn the key in the ignition, and the car won't start.

Try inserting the key into the door and manually unlocking it three times to reset the alarm. If this is successful, attempt to start the vehicle. If this does not work, there is a problem with the coding of your ignition key and a locksmith will have to cut and recode a new key for you.
