Q: Alarm on Jeep Liberty is preventing me from starting my vehicle and it will not shut off
My vehicle came equipped with an aftermarket keyless entry / alarm when I purchased the vehicle. The battery died a couple days ago and I tried to jumpstart it today. I was able to get a charge, however, when I unlocked the vehicle to try and start it, the alarm started going off which prevents me from starting the car. I have tried disconnecting the battery to see if it will allow it to reset, I have tried locking and unlocking the car multiple times to try and shut the alarm off but nothing seems to work.
My car has 93000 miles.
