Q: Airbag light is ON

asked by on

Airbag light is ON. it is ex police car used for training where they removed the airbag for training, i reinstalled the airbag but the airbag still stays on.
My car has an automatic transmission.

It is possible that the airbag control module may need to be reset or replaced. Unfortunately, most repair facilities other than the dealerships do not get involved with servicing or repairing air bag issues for safety reasons. A local Chevy dealer may be your only choice to have the system diagnosed.
