Car blowing cold on one side, hot on the other
That sounds about right. There have been a lot of cases with faulty actuators. They are computer controlled. If a code is set, they will default to a set position, or it's stuck. The blend door itself could be stuck...

What would be a price estimate of replacing a timing belt but not the the component kit?
The timing belt on your vehicle is recommended to be changed (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-long-does-a-timing-belt-last) every 60,000-90,000 miles. If a timing belt fails, the engine will stop running, and you may damage the engine. To get an idea of the cost involved to...

If the battery is completely shot (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-battery), the car still would not run. If...
when i start my 2001 jeep Cherokee up, there is an electronic humming sound

Gmc jimmy started sounding like a go kart even louder upon accelerating.
Hello, thank you for writing in. The increase in engine noise is very likely due to an exhaust leak. As with my own personal S10 at this age, the exhaust manifold gaskets are the first to go. You may also...
Car dies while idling in neutral and wont turn over without jumpbox even though battery reads 12.4 volts when parked
Even though the battery shows 12 volts does not mean it can have enough power to turn the motor on and will need to be load tested to see if it can. Once the battery is replaced and the cables...
