Q: AC noisy, intermittent blows hot, not cold. If needed, what is parts and labor cost range to replace compressor?

asked by on June 19, 2017

Rattling noise under hood. AC started blowing hot. Stopped car. Four hours later, started and all was ok. Both electric fans up front functioning properly. Engine not overheating. Friend with same car had same symptom. AC compressor was the problem. What is p&l price range to replace AC compressor IF that is the problem?
