Q: AC clutch turns on and off and AC is blowing hot air

My AC started blowing hot air today and I bought a recharge kit and while looking to see if my AC clutch was engaging I noticed it will turn on for a few seconds then off for a few minutes and keep doing this so iam trying to figure out if it's a bad relay or something of this sorts.

My car has 90000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
