Q: AC clicking..only working on certain settings...now car not turning over...just the clicking. Mercury Mariner 2008

AC started making clicking sound.a month ago...and only working on certain settings. Starting Hesitated a few times along with the clicking. ..but always turned over. Now clicking but not starting or even making an attempt at starting. Lights/power seem to be working.

My car has 109000 miles.
