Q: A humming/hissing sound coming from the direction of the glove department while driving in 4th or 5th gear.

asked by on September 27, 2017

When I am driving faster than 50 mph in 4th, or 5th gear, I hear a hissing/humming sound from the direction of the glove box. This is with the A/C, heater, and fan off. What could be the case of this sound, and how would I go about to stop or reduce the sound in question?

My car has 104000 miles.
