Q: A/C doesnt stop working.

asked by on

Hello. When i start my car a/c starts automatically. I am not able to turn it off. I checked all the fuses tried to take it out put other one but nothing changed. Do you have any idea about it ?

My car has 149000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

It is possible there is a short in the heat - a/c controls themselves. It may be shorted to the ON position or possibly the relay. Locate the a/c relay and if any other relays are similar, try swapping them to determine if it’s a faulty relay shorted/stuck in the ON position.
