I'm hearing a ticking/tapping sound from the engine area and it's very random. I only notice it when I'm sitting and more when I first start driving. Hitting the gas, pushing the brake pedal and anything random that I do will make it stop. It sounds like a tick/tap from the motor but it's not constant. Recently, I made the mistake and put convential oil in instead of Dexos but it made the noise prior to the oil change. The only issue that I'm remotely having other than that noise is the steering seems to be binding a bit when taking off (parallel parking steering..if that makes sense) . When there's no ticking sound, the motor is rather quiet and seems to be solid. A (power steering, oil, fuel, water) pump, timing chain...etc??? It's REALLY annoying and I'm worried it's trying to tell me something but there's no codes or anything else glaring to help.
