Q: 2012 hyundai acccent will cut off when stopped, RPM's will periodically not register while driving, car slow to acccelerate
A couple different things going on. One occasion, car was hesitant to start, finally did, but rpms did not register as car was driving, check engine light came on. Unhooked battery and tightened gas cap, light went off. About 1 week later, car cut off while at a stoplight, restarted with no problem, this has occurred 3 times, always when car is stopped foot on brake. Today car was sluggish to accelerate from a stop and then rpms wouldn't register while driving.
My car has 115000 miles.
