Q: 2009 Honda Fit key turned on D is lit up instead of P car won’t start and key won’t come out.
First noticed it key wouldn’t come out and car won’t start checked all the fuses and no issues with the immobilizer. Next I checked the brake light switch and other components and they checked out. When you turn the key forward the P “for park” is supposed to be lit but instead the D “for drive” is lit already changed out the safety nutrol switch and problem is still occurring. At this point I need some suggestions.
