Q: 2008 civic si ac works randomly. Fan kicks on but compressor does not. Mainly does it when it's really hot outside

asked by on July 08, 2017

AC randomly stops working. Fan comes on but compressor does not. Usually happens when it's hot outside. At night leaving from work, it works flawlessly. In the morning sun. Just blows hot and compressor not on. Had the freon checked twice and it's within recommend specs.
