My car steering wheel will slightly "jerk" when I'm driving to both right and left side. Makes me grip my wheel tightly just to be on the safe side. Also when the car is stopped if I turn wheel from side to side I hear a click or thump sound. Any idea what this could be? ... the car does need struts and or shocks in the back possibly the front as well. Not sure if that has anything to do with it? ... please help steer me in the right direction! No pun intended! Lol

My car has 150000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
