2005 Ford freestyle, after warming up the car with the heater blowing, toxic smelling smoke billowing out of air vents. No cabin filter. Car was on for about ten minutes. I do this almost every morning Monday thru Friday on super cold days. It smelled like something smoldering, almost like a cigarette smoldering in an ashtray, it was awful. I think my local garage was too busy helping other cars getting ready for spring break travel to give my car the time. They said it didn't smell when they turned on the vent, but it sure did still stink bad as I drove away. They were closing. Thanks, LJ
