Q: 2005 BMW X5 shut off, replaced battery went to turn on, lights, radio work but when try to start car alarm goes off
I was driving my car and out of nowwhwre the power shut off but the car kept moving. I was able to park in a parking lot. Tried to jump it, and the alarm kept going off. I checked the battery it says it needs charge. I changed the battery to one I believe may have been smaller and the car powered on but when we tried to start the car the alarm just went off
