2004 Toyota Highlander, it had a engine problem caused by the stripped engine bolts, heating up ceased, I had it fixed 1400 or so. Now the heat is not working correctly, looking for leaking inside of passenger side, not seeing any, no really smell of antifreeze. Could it be heater core or that the wires in the control unit? The heat comes on then cold if I move the heater dial to full heat it comes on but if I move it up still on red part of dial goes just light heat for cold. Did not have this problem until the car was worked on with the stripped engine bolt. It was flushed 2X to see if the problem with the heat corrected but did not help. Any suggestions since I don't want to put to much more money into this car. Though Toyota was better, not.
