The first item is to check your transmission fluid, with the engine warm, and running in Park. If the fluid is low, then you likely have a leak. If not, then you probably have internal transmission issues. Based upon experience and the age of your S2000, you may require a transmission replacement. I recommend having a qualified technician, such as one from YourMechanic, come out to your home or office for transmission fluid service, and going from there.
