asked by on February 08, 2018

I was driving my 2001 ford focus and I plugged a USB adapter into the cigarette lighter and the car cut out lights etc stayed on. I am no longer able to start the car all the start up/ignition lights come on and it tries to start but doesn't.

It cut out as soon a side plugged it in so I took it straight out.

I have replaced the battery but no joy.

My car has 110000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
