Q: 2000 Ford Focus cranking, but not starting

asked by on

When I go to start my car, everything comes on and it tries to turn over, but the car won't start.

I would have the battery load tested. There are instances that the battery may have enough power to run the lights but not turn the motor over a load test can tell you if it is the battery. I recommend having a certified technician come out and load test the battery, test the starter, check your alternator as well. They will be able to diagnose why your car is not starting.
