Q: Charging system

asked by on March 28, 2017

I got a new alternator new negative cord new battery and the car will run for a few miles then start to stall while stopped afterwards it might start a couple of times but turns right back off and eventually will die when trying to be started. When battery drains instead of trying to turn over it sounds like a clicking grinding sound

My car has 97000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
