i recently bought a 2003 saturn ion from a friend i had to replace the fuel pump and do some body work to the vehicle it has 2.2 engine and the motor is fairly new around 55000 miles sounds like a steal here is where it went south he lost the keys ok so i started to research the ignition system and finally concluded that i not only had to replace the key cylinder but the ignition switch as well once i replaced those now i can get it to start but wont stay running it immediatly shuts off after about 4 seconds i learned more in detail that i was dealing with the gm anti-theft system but at the same time not sure if i something wrong with my fuel pump ok my question is if is not the fuel pump and itis anti theft system do i need to get the same components along with the bcm or how do i go about a bypass or to program the key i got i dont have a lot of money or reliable transpertation so im have ing to fix issue on my own and get parts from my local junk yard any advice will help thanks
