Q: ,my car has developed avery hard starting problem overtime and i am asking what could have gone wrong?

overtime my car has slowly developed avery hard starting whether from cold or after driving some kilometers and its very serious,i tried to do some inspections on the heater plugs and they were all fine,the starter motor is still sound and diesel fuel is always between half and full tank then what could be the problem?

My car has 151823 miles.
