Maxwell

Maxwell showed up right on time for the appointment and was very professional. He had everything he needed to get the job done, and he was able to work in my apartment parking lot without problems. The whole service took an hour, and I was able to get some work done in my apartment in the meantime. I got a phone call when the job was done, and he went over the repair and inspection report with me in addition to letting me know what services I may require in the future. Overall, a great experience, and would recommend Maxwell and YourMechanic to everyone.

I was a little skeptical using a mobile mechanic but after speaking with a rep over the phone, he reassured me it would be a good experience...Bob arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He diagnosed my vehicle with what I already expected. I had a third party warranty on mechanical failures and the starter was covered. They honored the warranty, allowed me to use the dealership part and the 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty was guaranteed. Bob installed the part and now my car starts. Thanks Bob.

All about Ball Joint Replacement (Front)

Ball joints are a part of your vehicle's suspension system that connect the steering knuckles to the control arms. A ball joint is essentially a flexible ball and socket that allows the suspension to move and, at the same time, the wheels to steer. Cars and trucks will have multiple ball joint assemblies depending on their type of suspension system. Like any other suspension component, ball joints will eventually wear out and become loose. Excessive play in the joint can affect wheel alignment and tire wear. Loose joints can also cause suspension noise (typically a "clunking" sound when going over a bump). If a ball joint fails, the suspension can collapse, causing a loss of control of the vehicle.
