I am so happy about my experience with yourmechanic.com. Casey was very knowledgeable, communicative, and professional. The cost of the work done was much lower than what I had been quoted at the repair shop. One thing I especially liked about Casey, was that he seemed real about what needed to be done ASAP and what I could work on at a later date. With other places, I feel like they word things in an alarming matter to try and get me to do it all at once, which I'm just not able to afford. I hope I have more experiences like this, as I will be booking all of my work through yourmechanic.com from now on! Thank you!

Kenneth was exceptional. I hadn’t used YourMechanic before, but it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. I will definitely use the service again based on this experience and will, of course, request the same mechanic. Kenneth sized up the problem with my car right away and went above and beyond to fix it. On a Saturday. I really appreciate that. He was professional, personable, and explained everything as he went along. And my car runs perfectly! I also really liked the email alerts about the arrival time, and the prices are better than other estimates I got online. Thank you!

All about Spark Plug Replacement

The spark plugs are an important part of the ignition system. When you turn the ignition key (car's key) on, it causes the ignition coil to generate the spark which ignites the air-fuel mixture in the engine cylinders to start the engine. The number of spark plugs in the car is the same as the number of cylinders, although some vehicle manufacturers will use two spark plugs per cylinder. Over time, the spark plugs wear out and require replacement. When the spark plugs wear out, it is harder for it the air-fuel mixture to ignite, resulting in engine misfires. If one of the spark plugs has failed, the car will still start and run, but it will run poorly. On some vehicles, spark plug replacement may be labor intensive and involve removal of the intake plenum.
