I highly recommend Jose. Jose arrived right around 4:30 for a 4:30-5:30 appointment window. I was having an inspection for a coolant leak and clicking noises when I turned. An auto shop in town quoted me over $1500 worth of repairs but I wasn't comfortable with their assessment. I told Jose about this so he made sure to explain everything he was noticing, rated repairs by importance/necessity, and gave me time frames for when repairs should be completed. I like to know what's going on with my car so that was wonderful to get all that info from him. It reminded me a lot of the service I received back home from my family's long time auto shop (since the 90s!). Jose was also very friendly. While he added info to his YourMechanic app we chatted a bit and by time he left I was hooked on this service. Thanks so much Jose!

Brandon was an excellent, personable and professional mechanic who showed up early and got the job done in record time. He was even kind enough to ride along with me on a test drive to ensure the car worked properly after the service. I would recommend Brandon to anyone as he's the first mechanic I've ever had who hasn't tried to upsell me on services or rip me off. Five stars and thank you for being awesome!

All about Spark Plug Replacement

The spark plugs are an important part of the ignition system. When you turn the ignition key (car's key) on, it causes the ignition coil to generate the spark which ignites the air-fuel mixture in the engine cylinders to start the engine. The number of spark plugs in the car is the same as the number of cylinders, although some vehicle manufacturers will use two spark plugs per cylinder. Over time, the spark plugs wear out and require replacement. When the spark plugs wear out, it is harder for it the air-fuel mixture to ignite, resulting in engine misfires. If one of the spark plugs has failed, the car will still start and run, but it will run poorly. On some vehicles, spark plug replacement may be labor intensive and involve removal of the intake plenum.
