Power Steering had unexpectedly went out. Paid for the Inspection to determine what exactly I would need to buy to fix my problem. I wanted to provide my own parts. Alex was sent out to diagnose the problem and he determined it was my rack and pinion. However.........instead of having to purchase a new (very expensive) rack and pinion assembly, Alex was able to repair my existing one and I was only charged the initial inspection fee. Alex saved me a ton of cash by his expertise and honesty. Plus, he's a heck of a nice guy!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ! Paul T. Mesquite

YourMechanic has changed my life! I started to feel panicked when my car began making a horrible noise and no mechanic near me was open over the weekend. My work schedule doesn't fit with the hours most auto shops in my area are open. I was so happy to find YourMechanic - my only hesitation was that it seemed way too good to be true. I could not be more glad that I overcame this hesitation. YourMechanic is going to be my go-to for car problems. Junard is a skilled professional who diagnosed my car's problem quickly and explained it thoroughly. He came up with a plan to fix it that will fit my schedule and my budget, and went above and beyond to make sure that the specialty part that's needed was put on order through a dealership, and that I was clear on what the next step in the process would be, though spared the hassle of dealing with the dealership myself. He also was conscientious in checking beyond the problem to be sure that all of the possible contributing factors and anything that might be going on was thoroughly looked at. I've dealt with a lot of car problems and mechanics and have never felt so well-informed and supported as a car owner. I am so glad I booked this appointment and found YourMechanic and Junard!

All about Oil Pan Gasket Replacement

An oil pan is a metal container that contains the engine oil. The oil pan gasket seals the oil pan to the bottom of the engine. The engine has a lot of moving parts that need to be kept lubricated by the engine oil, without which the parts will damage each other. The oil pan and the gaskets are located under the car and are attached to the bottom of the engine. It is common for the gaskets to wear out and start leaking oil. You will see oil on the ground beneath your car. If the oil is leaking, you may see an engine oil warning light in the dashboard. If you continue to drive your car without the proper amount of oil, you will risk severe damage to the engine.
