Jose was early and efdicient at the pre-purchase appointment that even the seller of the car I had inspected said that he did a thorough job and was impressed. He even answered my questions after I saw the car later the same day with ease. It madr my lurchase easy because they could see me so quickly. Great service for people purchasing from.private sellers.

My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Kyle called to say he would be about 25 minutes late. He arrived when he said he would. He seemed knowledgeable and was polite and friendly. He quickly came to his conclusion that my old Buick was done and I should look to buy another vehicle. A little too quickly for my liking, but he was not trying to sell me parts or services I did not need. He gave me good advice on how to financially maximize what's left of my old car. My only criticism and it's a small one, is that he did not seem interested in hearing my opinions or comments about what I had done to or replaced on the car. He seemed confident that my vehicle was beyond repair and moving on was my best option. I would use YourMechanic Services Inc. again.

All about Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Many newer cars have computerized engine management systems that rely on sensors to report data to the computer. The crankshaft position sensor is used in conjunction with the camshaft position sensor to control ignition timing and to let the computer know when to inject fuel and provide spark sequence. Due to the mounting locations of this sensor, it is common for heat and oil leaks to cause this sensor to fail.
