YourMechanic is a great idea! For a first time customer, I did not know what to expect. But after the first appointment for a car diagnosis, I am convinced that YourMechanic is one of the best home service of our time. I had a great encounter with my first mechanic. He knew what he was doing, explained the services well, and all at a very reasonable price. I was so impressed with the quality of service that I will use YourMechanic from now on.

I'm certain I couldn't have had a better first experience with Your Mechanic. Enrique came out to diagnose my vehicle's starting issue and because of his professionalism, knowledge and personality he earned my business. He proceeded to not only repair my problem, but also install a new set of rotors and pads on my wife's Range Rover Evoque, as well, all in the same day! After witnessing his hard work ethic, and perseverance he also earned my respect and trust. I would highly recommend Enrique to anyone considering Your Mechanic for repair services.

I’ve had my valve cover gasket replaced, brake pads & rotors replaced and 100k maintenance. Rusty is friendly, professional, reliable and very knowledgeable. Although I am sure Your Mechanic has lots of great mechanics, I don’t want to use anyone else but Rusty!!!!

All about Intake Manifold Gaskets Replacement

The intake manifold is an aluminum, steel or plastic cover that sits on top of the engine. It is attached to the top of the engine by an intake manifold gasket (or gaskets) that is made of plastic and rubber. The intake manifold directs the air-fuel mixture in the engine to the corresponding cylinder where it is burned to produce power. The coolant flows through the intake manifold to the cylinder heads to reduce engine temperature. Expansion, contraction, and heat from the engine cause the gasket to fail. This will cause coolant passing through the intake manifold to leak. A leaky manifold gasket can also result in air being sucked through the leaky gasket, resulting in a vacuum leak and poor engine performance.
