He was very helpful and detailed in his evaluation of the vehicle I was interested in buying. I could not be there in person, but because of the pictures and information he provided about the vehicle I was able to be confident in my decision to purchase he car.

Joseph notified me about 30 minutes before that he was running late but as soon as he got here he got to work. He came out to replace my serpentine belt and determined that my water pump was also bad. He patiently waited while I went to purchase the water pump, which turned out to be the wrong one. He then waited again, while I took the bad water pump with me to get the right one. I was very impressed with both his patience and work and will definitely use him again and refer everyone I know.

Answers to common Subaru 1400 questions

Q: Circulation
Answered by Tim
Hi there: If you're having issues with the coolant not circulating correctly and overheating, then it's most likely caused by either an obstruction in the coolant system or a water pump that is damaged. You might want to have a...
Q: Front camera not working thx
Answered by Robert
Hello. If the camera is no longer working then it may have failed. From what I have seen on this vehicle the camera does not typically fail, but instead it is a programming issue. You need to take the vehicle...
Q: Found oil leak when changing spark plugs
Answered by Robert
Hi there. This is very common on your vehicle. This is caused by the valve cover gasket (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-valve-cover-gasket) tube seals. These fail all of the time because they become brittle as the engine gets older. Once that occurs, they start...
Q: Goes from 1500 to 3000 rpms randomly
Answered by Spencer
Hello there, a few different components can cause the vehicle to have a fluctuating idle. The most common would be the MAF sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-mass-airflow-sensor), a vacuum leak, exhaust leak, oxygen sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-oxygen-sensor) or the idle air control valve. A qualified...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I have to say I am totally satisfied with the service performance and Bernard is quite professional offering details of the work which was completed. I will definitely utilize your service in the future and will recommend to family and friends.

Stephen was very professional and spoke to me in terms that I understood. Although the news about the car was not great, he explained the why's and what it would take to fix it. I will call on him again. Many thanks!

I have to be honest, this was the first time that, I have EVER felt 'at-ease' around an auto mechanic. Jonas was thorough and straight forward with me about the issues; gave me a quote directly after doing the diagnostics on the car and, as it turned out, it cost me less than the original estimate. When does that ever happen with auto repairs ?? He was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. You folks made the whole experience convenient and painless. I'm "sold" on the "Your Mechanic" concept. I'll probably never take my car again to a traditional mechanic !! Jonas was a pleasure to deal with !
