Answers to common Mitsubishi Expo LRV questions

Q: I have changed the camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, spark plugs and plug wires and there still is no fire.
Answered by Marvin
Hi there. If there was a spark around the speed sensor as the engine was starting, then there is a major short in the ignition system. Check all of the wiring grounds and make sure that they all are hooked...
Q: When I start my car it the idle is very jumpy and the car feels like it wants to die
Answered by Ty
There are several possible causes for the idle to fluctuate (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-idle-is-rough-inspection) like this. The most common causes are a faulty/dirty mass airflow sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/mass-airflow-sensor-replacement), a vacuum leak, an oxygen sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/oxygen-sensor-replacement) that is reading incorrectly, or an idle air control...
Q: Car won't start - 2001 Mitsubishi Galant
Answered by Ronny

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

Patrick was very professional and polite. He inspected my car and found that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. He is very friendly and I would DEFINATELY recommend Patrick to all my family, friends and co-workers.

Tom went above and beyond to make me as satisfied as I could be. His communication was excellent. Friendly and professional and best if all, my car is running great and he did it without unnecessary repairs. I would and will highly recommend Tom and Your Mechanic to everyone. Thanks, Rob Miller.

Yourmechanic.com is a woman's prayered answered. My stress was zero. I didn't have to drop off the car and wait for an outrageous quote from the corner mechanic. I was able to schedule and know the price immediately. I will use yourmechanic.com from now on. If you are in the Las Vegas area. I recommend requesting Scott Franklin. He goes above and beyond customer service.
