Hello. Resealing an oil pan is not an easy job for someone who is not an experienced technician. I would suggest that you have a certified technician, like one from YourMechanic, come and replace the oil pan gasket (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/oil-pan-gasket-replacement).

Most likely, the valve cover gasket has failed. Due to age and temperature changes, it's possible that the rubber compound of the gasket has hardened and is no longer capable of sealing between the valve cover and the cylinder head....
