not at the moment but when the car is turned over the gas starts to leak but not at the moment because the battery is dead

i just know it was coming from underneath in the front kinda

ok, so it's likely a fuel hose or one of the pipes that are connected to it . I would strongly recommend that you don't try and start the car until this has been rectified as there is always a risk of fire .its likely the pipe will need to be replaced.

ok how hard is that to trace

It's a case of getting under the car. Pretty straightforward but would really require a vehicle lift to be able to see.

can i jump stART the jeep from the top post to give it power cause the battery is under the passenger seati was thinking of jacking it up but i have to get it towed to father in laws

I would recommend against doing this because there has been a gas leak when connecting the leads may cause an arc and could lead to a fire. I would tow the vehicle.

the leak was like 2 weeks ago i havent messed with it cause its been dead

ok so i would charge the battery rather than jump-starting just to be safe

thats what i meant..... that way if needed to i can turn the car over without starting it to see where the gas is coming from

do you know how to put jeep in neutral without car power?if i want to have it towed..

you will need power

when it does thats when the gas gone come out... but only when it gets fuel power its press to start so if i press it twice it will leaknot when i press it once

you will need to do that to release the selector .a small amount will leak until the ignition is turned back off

its not a little bit that leaks out though :(

you have little choice unfortunately ,just need to do it a quick as is possible

ok last recommendation with little to no money would you say get a flatbed tow or uhaul tow i just have no clue

preferably a flatbed because to tow you will need the ignition on tow the car

ok i looked up .. putting car in neutral without key.. thats no power use but will that work to get it going

yes the interlock release will allow the car to roll
