Hello, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I will be glad to assist you with your running issue. Have you checked either the fuel filter of the fuel pressure at the carburetor?

How do you check the fuel pressure at the carb? What am I looking for in the fuel filter?

To test the fuel pressure you will need a low pressure fuel pressure gauge. You disconnect the line going in to the carb and attach the pressure gauge. Then you crank the engine over and read the pressure. It should be somewhere between 7 and 10 psi. To check the fuel filter, if it is an inline filter just remove it and try to blow air through it in the direction of the arrow (most inline fuel filters have a direction arrow on them. If you can't blow air easily through the filter it needs to be changed. If all that is okay, then you might have a float level that is adjusted too low.

It could very well be a timing chain problem (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/timing-chain-replacement).
